Here at Optimum Biomedical Ltd. we do more than just provide biomedical equipment training courses and biomedical equipment services. We are dedicated to building long lasting relationships with our Customers and Course Delegates. We provide ongoing mentoring support and if required the provision of high quality test equipment, tooling and spare parts for a wide range of medical devices.

Meet the Team
Sean Ryder - Sean has been teaching biomedical technicians for the last 6 years and is also a qualified electrician. He is married to Alison and has two step daughters. He enjoys sailing and is well on his way to his RYA yachtmaster qualification, he loves to travel and is a keen photographer too.
Robert Shutt - Rob has been teaching biomedical technicians for the last 4 years. He grew up in Africa whilst his parents worked at a hospital in Uganda. He loves to keep fit and is an avid reader of world history.
Alison Ryder - Alison has spent the last 30 years working for the NHS mainly in a role as a GP Practice Manager. She is married to Sean and has two daughters, one lives in York and has just completed her university degree, the other is now on her university journey. Alison likes musical theatre and walking and travelling to lovely holiday destinations.Kenedy Chia - Kenedy is our freelance translator of all our documents and learning material, he has also now joined us to be our dedicated translator on each course in a french speaking country. He lives in Cameroon and was our translator during two courses with Mercy Ships. He is a professional translator who also works for translation companies within the UK and the US.
